Australian Bauxite Limited – Binjour Project. Presented by Australian Bauxite Limited CEO Ian Levy
Australian Bauxite’s Binjour Project, located 115km southwest of Bundaberg, is slated to become its flagship project with a resource of approximately 37 million tonnes.
In November 2019, Australian Bauxite announced the Binjour Project is underway with a Mining Lease Application to be lodged in early 2020. A sales MoU has been executed between Australian Bauxite, Rawmin Mining of India and Chinese aluminium producer Tianshan including an MoU with the Port of Bundaberg to export bauxite in bulk through the Port.
Australian Bauxite Limited CEO Ian Levy will be presenting at the RIM Industry Update on Tuesday, February 25, where he will discuss the projects scope and timelines including potential procurement opportunities for the region.

Their Queensland mines, Mt Carlton located 150km south of Townsville, Mt Rawdon located 75km south-west of Bundaberg, Ernest Henry located 38km north east of Cloncurry and their Cracow mine, located 273km south-west of Gladstone, produced approximately 385,000oz of gold in the 2018/19 financial year.
In 2019 Evolution reported a net profit of $218.2 million with their portfolio of assets delivering consistent operational performance. They continue to focus on the transformation of their business with several projects moving into operating phase including the high intensity grinding mill at Cracow and tele-remote drilling at Mt Rawdon.
